Don't Feel Sorry for Me

Today my husband and I went out w/ new baby. Every once in a while we go out to breakfast at the same restaurant. Usually, we have the same waitress, a thirty-something, mom-looking woman. I realized while talking w/her that she had never seen all of our children w/us. Farmerboy had come in a bit before on his way to school. I mentioned that he was our oldest and she commented that was quite an age gap. I then told her not really because we had 9. Her reply was "You poor thing." I, of course, said" no, it's actually a lot of fun."
Yes, I really mean that. It is hard work, it is tough sometimes, but I am always glad we have ALL of them. Life would be pretty boring with out them.
Please don't feel sorry for me, I am blessed.

Thankful

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with 'da Dad's family. This is usually the holiday we host, but my sister-in-law graciously took on the responsibility. Baby boy got to meet his other grandma and his aunts. They've decided he's a "keeper",too!
Families from church have been blessing us w/ suppers since his birth. This is such a blessing. Supper is the meal I normally fix. It makes one less of my jobs the children have to pick up. Sometimes, there's even enough left over for lunch the next day!
There's not much else going on. I'm just enjoying God's blessings and trying to behave myself:).

Baby News

Corban Gabriel joined the family this past weekend. He weighed 8# 3 oz. and was 21" long. He was born joyfully at home, and is being a great delight to everyone. Thanks to the many friends who prayed for a nice delivery and a healthy baby. We gratefully received both. Praise the Lord!

Back Home

Yes, that's right! We moved back home the 29th of October ! God blessed us with just enough help to be really efficient. There were about 4 young men (14-19), 2 young ladies from our church, and our family. The move was completed in less than 6 hrs! Praise be to God!
Thanks to all who prayed, gave, listened, and loved us during this time. God blessed each one of you!
BTW, anyone facing a move should go to flylady.net and use the ideas on there for moving. That really made a lot of difference. I've never had an easier move.
Now we're waiting for baby;).
